I have a friend, Ariel. She’s damn funny. The bio on her blog goes something like this…
My name is Ariel. I live in a curiously small apartment in San Francisco. In fact, this apartment is so small that there’s a flight of stairs in the middle of it that leads to nothing but a bathroom the size of an […]
I live in a city full of renters, who dread hanging a cool piece of art in their apartments for fear that their landlord will dock their security deposit extensively. I read about this product quite some time ago, and purchased it recently to use for clients’ homes. Let me tell you something…m.a.g.i.c. Erase-a-hole is a […]

Okay, so I have to admit that I have been a part of a “Bachelor/Bachelorette Pool” for a few years now. Yes, as in the TV show, The Bachelor. It’s terrible. The show is 100% terrible…but it hurts sooooo good! The people that show up on my television on a weekly basis, are certifiably nuts, however totally entertaining. I […]
I am a newly hooked “juicer”. I’ve heard so much and read a lot about the benefits of juicing – including improved health, stronger fingernails, prettier hair and clearer skin, increased metabolism, decreased appetite…I could go on and on. I never really understood the appeal though, until I started doing the juicing for a n […]

Some people hate V-Day…but how can you hate L-O-V-E? Sure it’s probably a bit blown out of proportion, thanks to Hallmark, but in the end what’s so bad about celebrating something so positive? I happen to like Valentine’s Day. Maybe it’s because I was raised by a mom who loved it too – she enjoyed her classroom full of k […]

I go over to her house early in the morning before work (after all, she’s up!), we get coffee, and then take a walk or jog with the baby in the stroller. This way, I get to see m […]
